ABOUT NEOMA
From the outset, NEOMA, through its wide range of programmes, admission routes and training formats, encourages access to higher education for as many people as possible and attracts a diverse audience, regardless of social, geographic or cultural background, gender or type of disability.
International presence and influence
- Approx. 75% of our permanent Faculty members (40 different nationalities),
- More than 25% of our students,
- Approx. 10% of the administrative staff have an international background.
- Our Alumni network is distributed over 127 countries.
- 400 international academic partners, in 61 countries.
- NEOMA Confucius Institute for Business is based at our Rouen, Paris and Reims campuses; its missions are to foster knowledge of Chinese language and Chinese culture, but also to create privileged links between companies and to strengthen partnerships and development flows between France and China.
- NEOMA has been awarded the « Bienvenue en France ! » (« Welcome to France ») certification, which highlights the quality of the welcome and support for international students on our campuses.
Social inclusiveness
Cordées de la Réussite
NEOMA offers young people in junior high schools and high schools the possibility to receive support in the form of mentoring by volunteering NEOMA students. This support is available in 3 areas:
- Cultural openness,
- Development of skills and behavioural keys,
- Openness to the world of businesses and careers.
Through theses partnerships, the School promotes equal opportunities and the success of young people who enroll in excellence-oriented higher education courses, regardless of their personal background.
Financing of studies
The School pursues an ambitious policy of equal opportunities. Our goal is to make sure that no student admitted to NEOMA gives up for financial reason.
Key-figures:
- More than 1,600 work-study contracts (including both apprenticeship and preprofessional contracts)
- 33% of NEOMA students receive financial support
- tuition fees fully borne by NEOMA for Level-7 scholarship holders
- an annual budget amounting to 3.6 million euros
The School ranks 1st among the Top 10 in France based on this criteria
Disability
NEOMA is committed to a responsible and citizen-based approach, with inclusion of people with disabilities identified as a wealth
NEOMA has implemented various actions and services for students and employees with special needs (adapted entry tests and exams, campus accessibility, presence of Disability Advisers on each campus, awareness-raising initiatives, …).
Each employee who attended an awareness-raising session on disability and who is familiar with internal processes is easily identified with the “Handischool” logo on the right.
A mentoring programme called PHARES (« Par-delà le Handicap, Avancer et Réussir des Etudes Supérieures », in French) has been implemented for young people with disabilities on the Reims and Rouen campuses.
Gender equality
Among NEOMA’s staff, the gender equality index was 90/100 for 2023. Women account for approximately 50% of students across all programmes.
Members of the HeForShe association are present on our campuses in Reims and Rouen. HeForShe is a NATO-launched solidarity campaign for gender equality. It aims to involve men and boys in the battle for women’s rights.
In early 2022, NEOMA officially joined the 150 organizations which were then signatories of the #StOpE charter, demonstrating its willingness to fight everyday sexism in the workplace.
