Academic Publications: a steady growth in both quantity and quality

  • Over 900 research papers published in 5 years
  • Of which, more than 70% in tier 1- and 2- journals
  • A growing share of faculty has already published in top international academic journals

In 2021 NEOMA created four Areas of Excellence, in which research projects actively address current challenges faced by businesses and society (as of June 2024, around 80% of Faculty members were participating in at least one project affiliated to one of the Areas of Excellence, among more than 500 affiliated projects, of which more than 170 have received full or partial funding):

Support to research project development

  • Personalised programme for each faculty member, for them to be able to dedicate more time to research only
  • Over 100 training courses, workshops and seminars offered each year
  • A mentoring programme offered to junior faculty members
  • An experimental laboratory on the Rouen campus
  • A copy-editor and workshops focused on improving writing skills
  • Access to the full text of a large corpus of academic journals published by Elsevier, Wiley, Sage, Emerald, Oxford University Press, Taylor & Francis, Academy of Management,…
  • Access to specialist financial information on companies and financial markets via the Bloomberg, Wharton Research Data Services, Compustat,… platforms.

Support to research project funding

  • Help with the preparation of external funding applications (grants from local authorities, the French government and the EU Commission)
  • Various internal financing mechanisms (Individual Research Budget, funding as part of the Areas of Excellence)
  • Support to communicate around research work with our various stakeholders
  • Support to popularize research findings with the media
  • Workshops for discussions/networking with business leaders
